Shami Mohan

Hailing from a musically inclined family with roots in Hindustani and Carnatic vocal traditions, Shami Mohan discovered her passion for Western music at the age of eight.

After a successful 12-year corporate career, she made a bold pivot in 2014 to pursue her true calling— music. Under the mentorship of renowned voice coach Ms. Lillian Zachariah, she honed her craft and soon began teaching Western vocals, performing, and collaborating with some of Bangalore’s finest musicians, including Vasundhara Das and Jason Zachariah.

A versatile artist, she has lent her voice to corporate projects as an English voice-over artist, accent trainer, and jingle vocalist.

With over a decade of experience in teaching and performing, combined with her corporate background, she brings a unique blend of precision, creativity, and strategic thinking to her work.

In 2019, she established her own recording studio in Sahakar Nagar, Bangalore, further expanding her contributions to the music industry as a performer, educator, and producer.
